
Karl Stirner's reputation in The Lehigh Valley arts community, especially in the city of Easton, is immense. There's even a section of the city named for him, the Karl Stirner Arts Trail. The German-born Stirner started his art career at 23 as a professional drafter and then went on to teach at Tyler School of Art and Moore and Swarthmore colleges. His work has been shown at the Museum of Modern Art, the Corcoran and the Philadelphia Museum of Art, to name a few. (read more)
